Like many parents, a loulout had asked her mom how to act if her first rules were at school. Starting from the observation that there was no simple, practical and playful device to accompany it, nor kits that hold in a bag of courses, the idea of a kit for reassurance and self-reliance of the young girls in front of the arrival of the rules was sprouted to this mother.

A mother aware that the timing of the first rules is important, that it can be a source of anxiety for a teenager and that it is sometimes difficult for parents to approach this subject with her..

With Ma Louloute, she wished to develop a true preventive, educational and playful universe, in which the rules are envisaged under the unpublished angle of humor, understanding and simplicity.

In a societal approach, our kits are assembled in Brittany with a structure of professional integration of persons with disabilities.
Also, we work with different NGOs and associations; whether in France, South Africa or Canada, to enable all these young girls in the world to be accompanied, advised, and to be able to cross this important stage of their lives in full serenity. Thus, thanks to our customers, for every kit and recharges purchased, Ma Louloute and Lools products are redistributed to young girls - boys who do not have access to protections or whose access to information and menstrual and sexual education is limited.
It is in this sense that our various meetings with the Ministry of Education and Health in France, South Africa and Spain allow us to fill this lack of education information.

We are making a point of honour to act for the protection of the environment. We have chosen to work in collaboration with French partners and territorial proximity, in order to limit transport and reduce its ecological footprint. In addition, all boxes (box containing products, shipping boxes to deliver kits worldwide) are made from recycled cardboard and the ink used is of vegetable origin.

The kit Ma Louloute by EDITA offers a kit that is intended to accompany, inform, empower all young girls in the face of the arrival of their first rules.

It was designed, developed and manufactured in close collaboration with gynecologists and health professionals.

Many teen.e.s are schooled at the time of their puberty, and many are those who, gradually entering adulthood, have heard contradictory, negative and confusing messages on sexuality, messages often amplified by the discomfort and silence of adults. For both boys and girls, the transition from childhood to adulthood can appear as an exhilarating period, and mark a major change.

Because of the physical and psychological changes resulting from this, teenage girls ask many questions and don't know how to talk about it or how to address the different issues that concern them.

Why not take advantage of this period of puberty to set up healthy lifestyles and lifestyles and accompany these adolescents to sexual and reproductive health synonymous with many physical, emotional and social changes? This puberty is more closely related to early sexual experiences. Elel is the time when many individuals begin to explore their sexuality and establish interpersonal relationships. 1.2 billion young people worldwide cross the difficult border between childhood and the adult world.

One of our main objectives is to meet the existing gaps in menstrual education for girls:
- In France, 3,408 girls a day have their rules for the first time when 40 per cent of women were afraid of their first rules.
- 48% of women said they had never dared to explicitly mention the subject before their first rules!
- In addition to the fear of speaking, 1.7 million women are in menstrual precariousness. As a result of this lack of preparation, many young girls feel destitute when their first rules arrive, especially when they occur outside the family home.

It is urgent to develop two complementary "menstrual and sexual" quality education that leaves no teenager delivered to themselves.

Our different Pedal Kits allow all the loulouts to ideally understand the arrival of their rules by providing advice that they have not received, and by helping them make the right choices for their health and during their women’s journey.

The goal is to allow everyone to understand at best this second key step.

- In France, the median age of the first sexual intercourse, i.e. the age at which half of adolescents have already had a sexual relationship, is 17.4 years for boys and 17.6 years for girls.

- The first time is rarely programmed: it was for only 14.5 per cent of young couples, and for 30% it was completely unexpected.
- The age of the first report is getting older: 20 per cent of 15-year-old girls have sex and about 50 per cent of adolescent girls have had sex at 17 years of age.
- During the first sexual intercourse in France: 10, 1% of adolescents do not use contraception because of lack of information and access to protections.
- More than 90% of pregnancies experienced by women aged 17-20 were unforeseen.

These figures give the measure of the issues: accompanying, advising, and supporting adolescents so that these important steps in their lives are well lived and can be taken without congestion.

In a follow-up logic in the physiological path of the child, the LOOLS kits offer educational and preventive support to the teenager towards the first sexual intercourse.

In an objective of accompanying the strong physiological times of each person’s life, namely the rules with Ma Louloute, the first sexual relationship with LOOLS, and finally the peri-menopause and menopause, Edita Design wants to democratize these themes.

From the first rules to menopause, our different kits accompany each at key stages of life. These kits are grouped within three learning stages:

- Childhood: “My Kit first rules”
- Ad(o)ulte: “My kit first sex”
- The maturity: "My Kit Peri-menopause" and "My Kit Menopause"

Our kits take into account the environment of individuals and allow them to continue, throughout their adult lives, the process of acquiring knowledge, standards, values and provisions begun in childhood.
